PRIVACY POLICY
WHO WE ARE
dreadload.com is run by ASP Games (asp-games.com), the developer and publisher of DREADLOAD. We are the data controller for the information described here.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Email address — only if you enter it in the "Keep me posted" form.
Press and contact messages — your email, the optional name and outlet you add, and your message, only if you write to us through the form on the press page.
Standard server logs — IP address, time and requested page, kept by our hosting setup for security and rotated automatically.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
Your email is used only to send news about DREADLOAD: playtests, the Steam page, release and major updates. Legal basis: your consent.
Contact messages are used only to answer you. Server logs keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the site.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We never sell your data. The site and its database run on a server we rent from Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union.
When you submit a form, a copy of the submission is sent to our team through a private Telegram bot so we see it immediately; Telegram processes that message under its own privacy policy. If we start using an email-newsletter service, it will be named here before it receives any data.
COOKIES AND EMBEDS
The site works without cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. When a trailer is shown, it is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that player.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep your email until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Server logs are deleted within 30 days.
HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE
Every email we send will have an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email aspgames.dev@gmail.com and we will remove you within a few days.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
CHILDREN
DREADLOAD is a horror game. The site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced to subscribers.
